Capcom has just released a free patch for Resident Evil 6 on the PC, as well as a special Siege Mode DLC that adds a new multiplayer experience to the action survival game.

Resident Evil 6 on the PC has proven to be quite popular, with Steam users unlocking all its different pre-order bonuses ahead of its release in March.

Now, Capcom has just posted a new free update for the game, which takes it to version 1.0.4.

The patch adds new options to the session search function, improves the performance of the game when running on Nvidia graphics cards set up in SLI mode, and fixes plenty of other issues.

What's more, Resident Evil 6 has also received on the PC the special Siege Mode DLC that adds a new multiplayer experience in which players must either protect a group of civilians from zombies or attack them while controlling different monsters.

Both the patch and the DLC are available via Steam.
