CD Projekt Red revealed that it's going to release a set of full-fledged mod tools for its recently launched The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition, in the form of the REDKit, and has now begun accepting registrations for a future beta stage.

Modding is a popular hobby for many PC gamers as they want to tinker around with games in order to enrich their content or fix their problems.

The Witcher 2 came out last year and was re-released back in May as the Enhanced Edition, and now developer CD Projekt Red wants to enable owners to modify the game by releasing a set of mod tools called the REDKit.

Before the tools are officially available, a closed beta stage will be ran later this year and the Polish studio is now accepting registrations for the test phase.

Only experienced modders are welcome, as the developer wants to see samples of their work before accepting them into the beta stage.

Those with enough experience can register until September 30 at this link.
