Ubisoft presented Rayman Legends for the Nintendo Wii U last week at E3 2012, but this doesn’t meant that the impressive platformer won’t arrive on other platforms, like the PC, PS3 or Xbox 360, as the French company confirmed that anything was possible.

Rayman Origins impressed lots of gamers across many platforms, including the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita or Nintendo 3DS.

Now, a full-fledged sequel – Rayman Legends – was confirmed for the Nintendo Wii U last week.

While Ubisoft is only showing off the game for that platform, the French company is the first to admit that it won’t be an exclusive for the new device.

"We're looking at a lot of different launch options so we'll keep you guys updated as soon as we know for sure, but right now we're just talking about the Wii U," Ubisoft Senior Game Manager Michael Micholic told Joystiq.

As such, it’s safe to say that, after Rayman Legends appears for the Wii U later this year, it’s going to make its way onto other devices.
