The development team at Insomniac Games announces that it is delivering a new update to Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, designed to introduce a new multiplayer map and mode for players to enjoy.

James Stevenson, the community lead at the company, says on the official PlayStation Blog that a team at the Insomniac Games studio in North Carolina has created a new play area based on the Molonoth Fields from A Crack In Time.

The new game mode is called 2v2 Full Frontal Assault and is designed to appeal to the core fans of the series.

Players no longer use the phase system and can perform all actions at any time, which means that the entire experience is dynamic and will require quick reactions and solid tactical thinking.

The Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault store has also been updated with the Monsters, Intergalactic Foot Soldiers and Plushy packs available.
