Rare is one of the development studios that gamers are looking to when it comes to innovation on the Xbox One, and it seems that their new video game project will be revealed at the coming E3 2015 event in June.

Information from the Twitter account of Simon Woodroffe, the studio director, collected by NeoGAF, is suggesting that a lot of work has already been done on the title and that the first look will surprise a lot of gamers.

The title uses a new intellectual property, although no information has been offered about it so far.

Gregg Mayle, who is best known for being the lead designer on the Banjo series, Viva Pinata and other big Rare hits, is the one who created the core ideas for the new experience.

Rare is not working with the Kinect motion tracking system and apparently the new title will be offered on both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360.

Woodroffe says that the gameplay mechanics are at the moment more fun than any other project they have worked on before.

Given the full slate of big Xbox One launches for the year, the new Rare title will probably arrive in 2016 or even later.
