Game Arts and GungHo Online have announced the imminent release of the revised and expanded version of Ragnarok Odyssey, titled Ragnarok Odyssey ACE.

The new version of the game contains all the downloadable content that has been released for the original game, along with new enemies and dungeons with both single and multiplayer modes, an improved skill system with new additions, a better HUD and several gameplay balances.

Ragnarok Odyseey Ace also comes with a completely new original soundtrack, devised by legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu.

Additional information regarding Ragnarok Odyssey Ace can be found in the official PlayStation Blog announcement, presented by North American publisher XSEED Games.

The updated variant will allow players to import save data from the original Ragnarok Odyssey, and any Trophies previously earned will transfer over, but players both old and new will have to start the campaign from the beginning, in order to properly enjoy the revamped content.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will launch on April 1 for Sony's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita gaming platforms.
