Video game developer Slightly Mad Studios is ready to deliver the official launch trailer for Project Cars, which is designed to show off some of the core elements of the racing sim and the variety of content that it will deliver.

The footage is impressive and focuses on the accuracy of the simulation mechanics that will be included, with a range of new physics that will allow players to see exactly how cars behave during the most strenuous races.

A special racing-themed Deadmau5 playlist is also now live on Spotify, designed to prepare gamers for the feelings that the title will deliver when it is out.

Project Cars will include modes ranging from GT to touring, Le Mans Prototypes and karts.

More than 80 cars will be introduced when the racing title is launched, and up to 16 players will be able to engage in multiplayer.

Project Cars will also feature community events, regular content drops and support for a range of racing wheels and for virtual reality using the Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus.

The title was created with a lot of input from the fan community, and the team at Slightly Mad Studios will continue to listen to them as it makes changes to the core mechanics after launch.
