Video game developer Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive are announcing that they are planning to launch Pro Cycling Manager 2015 on June 18, allowing players to take control of a team from the sport and try to reach the pinnacle of achievement, regardless of whether that means winning the Tour, dominating the classics, or winning every flat stage.

A new gameplay trailer for the PC version of the title shows some of the ways gamers can tweak the performance of their team and how riders will be controlled during the actual races, with new options for high-speed sprints.

Pro Cycling Manager 2015 is the version of the game offered on the PC and the developers are saying that they will make a lot of changes to the core gameplay and will make sure that all race courses are as close to those in the real world as possible.

The series has been affected by launch bugs during the past few years, and it will be interesting to see whether Cyanide manages to eliminate them all by June 18.

A version of the game called Tour de France 2015, which will be more focused on rider control, will be launched on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft.
