Although the game will unlock in about 6 days and a few hours, pre-loading it now will offer gamers the possibility to jump right into action the moment Borderlands 2 becomes available to play.
Besides the advantage of having the game pre-loaded on their PCs, those who pre-ordered the game will also receive several bonuses: a new character class, the Mechromancer, a golden key, which can be found in the mysterious Sanctuary Loot Chest, as well as the Vault Hunter's Relic, allowing gamers to play solo or with their friends and “boost their gear-hunting fortune.”
