14 DAY TRIAL // Volition and Deep Silver have sweetened the pre-order deal for Saints Row 4 on the PC platform via Steam, offering three different weapon costumes modeled after popular online shooter Team Fortress 2.
Saints Row 4 is the next installment in the long running series. Developer Volition, together with publisher Deep Silver, has already offered some interesting pre-order incentives across the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms, including the special Commander-in-Chief upgrade, which has a bonus jet, suit, and weapon.
Now, those who get the game for the PC via the Steam service will earn not just the aforementioned bonuses but also three extra "weapon costumes" that turn the game's regular weapons into guns found in Team Fortress 2, in the form of the Pyro's Flamethrower, the Soldier's Rocket Launcher, and the Rainblower.
These items are exclusive to Steam, so they can't be received by pre-ordering for PC via other services or websites.
