Video game developer Valve introduces a new update for Portal 2, its puzzle platformer, designed specifically in order to change the experience that players receive for the Big Picture mode.

The update allows gamers to see the wearables on the split screen view on the P-body and those who are now using controller will not be able to skip the intro cards.

A new command has been also introduced in order to allow players to determine which of them uses each of the controllers linked to the game.

The developers say: “To play splitscreen with a single controller, set controller #1 to control player #2 with this command: joy_remap_player_for_controller1 2.”

Portal 2 is a puzzle-based platform title which expands on the core elements of the first game in the series and allows players to experience a new chapter in Chell’s and GlaDOS’ story.
