14 DAY TRIAL // A developer named Patrick Murphy has launched a new short campaign for Portal 2, the adventure and puzzle game from Valve, which stars main character Chell and can be downloaded via as a separate mod or via the Workshop features of the Steam digital distribution service.
The official description reads, “In the campaign, you assume the role of Chell during an early part of Portal 2. This time however, things turn out differently. The actions of a rogue force will set you on a new path through Aperture Laboratories.”
The core gameplay of the Designed for Danger campaign is close to that of the original Portal 2, but the developer says that the puzzles are harder and the various physics elements have been enhanced.
Valve has asked the Portal 2 community to improve on the core design of the title and has collaborated with Patrick Murphy by allowing him to use music taken from the game.
