The latest update adds 2 controller splitscreen support for standard co-op

Valve’s Portal 2 hit for PC received numerous patches and updates that added more features and fixed some of the issues reported by players.

The most recent update for Portal 2 for PC brings a few improvements, which are meant to enhance the gaming experience for players who use controllers.

The most important change included in this minor update is the additional 2 controller splitscreen support for standard co-pp.

Now players will be able to press X on the second controller inside the first co-op menu in order to activate it. Furthermore, Valve fixed controller's ‘quick ping’ button causing the player’s movement to stop issue.

Last but not least, developers also fixed another bug that would not let players exit Robot Enrichment or Create Test Chambers menus with the controller.
