After confirming the PS Vita TV for a Japan launch this November, Sony has now revealed that the rest of Asia will get it in January 2014.

The PlayStation Vita TV is a micro console that can play most of the games made for the actual PlayStation Vita, as well as for the PSP, can support various entertainment services, and even allows gameplay streaming from the next-gen PlayStation 4.

After revealing that the device will debut in Japan first on November 14, 2013, Sony has now revealed, via Siliconera, that the PS Vita TV will be launched across Asia in January of 2014.

As of yet, however, the company hasn't revealed when the micro console will debut in other big territories like North America or Europe.

Sony officials have advised fans from those regions to sit tight and wait for details that will be shared in the near future.
