Sony confirms that it's finally getting its PlayStation Network back online, meaning owners of the PS4, PS3, or PS Vita can start experiencing multiplayer services and other advantages on their devices.

The winter holiday season has brought not only an influx of new users for all sorts of consoles, but also plenty of DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks across both the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live services.

As such, both of them buckled under the pressure and remained offline for extended periods of time. After quite a lot of work, Microsoft brought back its Xbox Live service, while Sony was still caught in maintenance for its PSN.

Now, the large Japanese company confirms on its AskPlayStation Twitter that it's started to get back online the network services for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita devices.

As such, owners of these different devices might soon be able to log into their PSN accounts and start enjoying various online features, such as multiplayer gaming or entertainment applications.

It's unclear just how soon all PSN users should be able to connect to the online service, but you should keep checking back throughout the following hours until you manage to log in.

Bear in mind that such outages might continue in the following days due to the new users and other potential attacks.
