Sony has confirmed that its PlayStation Network online service will undergo a scheduled maintenance period tomorrow, March 1, affecting it across territories like Europe, North America or Asia.

PSN maintenance periods are quite common, especially after the hacker attack last year, but this new one is a bit more serious, as Sony confirms that serious work will be executed.

As such, on March 1, the PSN will be offline between 8am PST and 10pm PST. During this time, everyone connected to the service will be signed out and they won’t be able to access services like the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, or the regular account management.

Online multiplayer will also be unavailable, so plan your offline gaming time accordingly.

Sony hopes to finish the job between the estimated period above, but it doesn’t exclude the possibility of continuing work well after 10pm PST.
