14 DAY TRIAL // The team at Sony in charge of the PlayStation brand is announcing that it is currently offering a range of content on its home consoles that's specifically designed to allow gamers to celebrate May 4, the day when fans show their love for the Star Wars franchise.
Gamers can get a Millennium Falcon theme for free on the PlayStation 4 and the PS3 during the coming seven-day period, and there are also deals for the movie bundles.
A pre-order option is also offered for the coming Star Wars Battlefront title, which is coming in the fall and will also be introduced on the PC and the Xbox One.
Four classic titles in the series are also offered via the PlayStation Network for the PS3: Starfighter, Bounty Hunter, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and Racer Revenge.
The official announcement also talks about a competition on the Twitter feed that is giving players a chance to pick up a special custom box for their PlayStation 4 and more content.
May the 4th is special this year because gamers are getting ready for the seventh full movie in the franchise, called The Force Awakens, and for a range of new Star Wars content linked to the television series and the video game world.
