A new downloadable character was supposed to appear for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, in the form of Dart from The Legend of Dragoon, at least according to the portfolio of a character artist who apparently worked at the game's developer, SuperBot Entertainment.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale was supposed to be Sony's answer to Nintendo's Smash Bros. franchise and allowed players to take control of many different video game characters and fight it out.

Sadly, the game wasn't that successful and Sony interrupted the partnership with developer SuperBot.

Now, it seems that the studio was working on new DLC for the game, in the form of at least one new character.

According to the portfolio of an artist who worked at the developer, via AGB, the hero was Dart from The Legend of Dragoon, the cult classic RPG that originally came out in the early 2000s and appeared for the PS3 as a re-release in May 2012.

No other details are known, but you can check him out above.
