Tomasz Gop, the developer best known for his work on The Witcher and who’s now creating Lords of the Fallen, says that the PlayStation 4 from Sony will allow teams to create richer, more realistic experiences because of its upgraded hardware.

Speaking to Eurogamer, he states that, “I couldn't even imagine making a tessellated game on the current generation of consoles. It might even be one of the biggest gaps.”

He adds, “you just can see more on the screen right now, because it's gonna fit and the memory's gonna be fast.”

All the details are linked to the 8 GB of shared memory that the PlayStation 4 will include, which some believe can match and ever overcome current high-end PC performance.

Lords of the Fallen is an action role-playing game that will arrive on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox 720 from Microsoft.
