Michael Pachter, the video game analyst for Wedbush Morgan, says that the PlayStation 4 has managed to sell 1.25 million units on the United States market during the month of November while the Xbox One has managed to deliver 750,000 devices to gamers in the same month.

This means that the devices are going head to head, considering that the Sony platform arrived on November 15 while the Microsoft console was only available starting with November 22.

The Xbox One costs 499 dollars while the PlayStation 4 can be obtained for 399 dollars.

The analyst also believes that sales of the older PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 have gone down significantly during the month of November, with percentages estimated at 28, 65 and 44 percent, according to MCV.

Confirmation of these figures will come before the end of the week when the NPD Group reveals its official sales figures for North America in November.
