Shuhei Yoshida, the leader of the Sony Worldwide Studios, says that developers will be able to disable the much talked about Share button of the PlayStation 4 controller in order to prevent players from spoiling certain experiences.

He tells a Japanese site in an interview translated by Edge that, "There will be parts of a game that the maker does not want people to be able to see."

He adds, "The creator may not want to make video of the final boss sharable, for instance."

Sony claims that the Share button will add a whole new dimension to gaming because it will make it easier for players to evaluate games before buying them and will allow communities to form quickly around certain titles.

The PlayStation 4 will be launched before the end of the year.
