Sony announced the PlayStation 4 yesterday evening, alongside quite a few games to be released for the next-generation console and, right at the end, the company revealed that the new device would be out in holiday 2013 at least in North America.The PlayStation 4 was eagerly awaited by millions of PlayStation fans all around the world and Sony has made sure to reveal quite a lot of interesting games alongside the confirmation that it's going to release the next-generation device onto the market.
Besides presenting impressive titles, like Killzone: Shadow Fall or Infamous: Second Son, Sony also emphasized the console's power and features, such as the Gaikai-powered cloud gaming mechanics.
Right at the end of its conference, Sony confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will come out in the 2013 holiday season, at least in North America.
Other territories, like Europe or Japan, will receive release details in the near future.
