The PlayStation 4 is soon launching on the Japanese market and the stores selling the new Sony console are using some pretty interesting comparisons and images to show how powerful the next-gen device is when compared to the PS3.

Dragonball, a huge manga and anime series, is a simple reference for most gamers to understand.

NeoGAF has the image and the translation, which states:

If you compare the PS3 to Freeza’s first form (battle power 530,000) PS4 is a monster machine like the fourth form of Freeza (battle power 60 million). [8GB Memory] -> 16 times the PS3. Power: Can use the Death Beam 16 times at the same time. [8 Cores] -> 8 Times the PS3. Number of programs that can be executed: The Ginyu Force is now 40 people. [Memory GDDR5] -> 7 Times the PS3. Processing Speed: Will move seven time quicker.

It’s interesting to note that the comparisons are always linked to the older generation from Sony rather than the Xbox One from Microsoft.

Sony has promised that it will offer some exclusive content for the PlayStation 4 in Japan, with some already available on the PSN Store.
