Sony held a special PlayStation 4 panel at the Game Developers Conference this week and talked in-depth about the new Connected user experience that owners of the new console will see in the next-gen console.

The PlayStation 4 was formally revealed last month when Sony held a special conference to showcase many of the games that will appear on the console and its different features.

Now, Sony's Senior Staff Engineer Chris Norden held a panel at GDC 2013 and talked about the Connected UX, which will introduce a new type of user experience to owners of the console.

The UX will be based on five key principles, according to Destructoid, including simplicity to use, immediate feedback, social connectivity, integration with the PS Vita and mobile platforms, as well as the support of customization options.

Unfortunately, Sony didn't show any images with the PlayStation 4's User Experience.
