Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 games published by it for the next-gen console on launch day or in the launch window, like Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, Knack, or Infamous: Second Son, will cost $59.99/€59.99.

The PS4 is going to appear at the end of the year in both North America and Europe and, according to Sony, the console will be priced at $399/€399.

Now, after a few reports about a potential price increase for the PS4 games, the company has issued a statement to Shacknews, confirming that the pricing for launch day and launch window games on the PS4 will be 59.99 USD/EUR.

Four games will be published by Sony in and around the PS4's launch period, including Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, Knack, and Infamous: Second Son.

Sony couldn't comment on the potential pricing of PS4 games made by third-party developers and publishers, so it's still unclear just how much owners of the next-gen console will have to pay for titles.
