The development team at Quantic Dream has left open the possibility that it will deliver a PlayStation 4 port for its upcoming Beyond: Two Souls, with an announcement set to be made closer to the launch date for the new Sony hardware.

Eurogamer asked Guillaume de Fondaumiere, a vice president at the company, about possible platforms and he replied by saying, “That's not been decided yet.”

Quantic Dream has a close relationship with Sony and was one of the first development studios to get access to the development kit of the PlayStation 4.

The team has recently showed off the final cover art for Beyond: Two Souls, which is described as mature and emotional.

The game will be launched on October 8 on the PS3 and will soon be screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.
