PopCap needs to carefully choose which platforms it works on

Brian Lindley, a producer working on Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, says that the choice to launch the game initially on the Xbox line of home consoles is natural given the size of the team and the experience the game offers.

He tells The Official Xbox Magazine that, “it’s a great piece of hardware, it’s given us the opportunity to make the game look incredible, run at a great frame rate and just visually be really impressive.”

The team has revealed that the game will run at 60 frames per second, but the resolution has not yet been officially announced.

Lindley also says that the team at PopCap is relatively small and that means it needs to carefully select the platforms it is working on so that it can finish its titles on time.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be launched on the Xbox One, the PC and the 360 on February 18 in the United States and three days later in Europe.
