Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is preparing to debut for the PC platform later this month and PopCap has just confirmed the minimum PC requirements for the new multiplayer shooter and they're quite decent, in line with standard games nowadays.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare delivered a big deviation for the franchise, transforming what was once a tower defense experience into a dynamic third-person shooter that includes all sorts of wacky customization options for the plants and the zombies.

The game made its debut first on Xbox One and Xbox 360 back in February and impressed quite a lot of people and now it's set to launch this month on PC and in August for the PS3 and PS4 platforms.

Ahead of the PC debut, PopCap has confirmed on the PvZ Facebook page the minimum requirements for the PC edition, as they've been nailed down by the development team.

Overall, they're quite decent, although, just like with other Frostbite 3-powered games, only 64-bit versions of the Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems are supported.

Check out the list below.

Required: Internet connection required to install and play DVD-ROM: N/A OS: Windows 7/8 64bit Video Card: NVIDIA 8800GT, AMD/ATI Radeon HD 5750 Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.0 GHz Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible Memory: 4GB RAM DirectX: 10.0+ Hard Drive: 15 GB Input: Keyboard, Mouse or Dual Analog Gamepad

The PC edition will have a high quality, according to PopCap, so look forward to its release via the Origin service on June 24, in North America, and June 27, in Europe.
