Video game hardware maker Nintendo says that it is re-introducing the pink version of the Nintendo 3DS XL handheld to the United States market in time for Valentine’s Day on February 14, giving fans a chance to gift one of the devices to a loved one.
The XL version of the 3DS handheld includes a larger screen, designed to give players a better experience, and more battery life, extending the autonomy of the device.
The 3DS is unique because its two screen setup can create a three-dimensional experience without asking players to wear big and unwieldy glasses.
The device failed to impress when it launched during 2011, but Nintendo has quickly cut its price and launched a number of high-profile titles that quickly made it successful, especially when compared to the rival PlayStation Vita.
