Video game developer Obsidian is announcing that it is launching the 1.04 patch for Pillars of Eternity on Steam in order to improve the overall experience of those playing the RPG, with versions for GOG and Origin coming as soon as possible.

The developers are saying that they have made a solid number of changes to the title, with a full list of all the tweaks offered to those who push the button at the end of this article.

The official announcement also confirms that Pillars of Eternity will get a beta version of patch 1.05 next week, with gamers able to offer their feedback by testing it on Steam.

Obsidian is also saying that patch 1.04 is the one which will be shipped on disks to backers in the coming weeks.

Pillars of Eternity had one major bug related to items when it was first launched, but since then, the community has not reported any game-breaking issues.

Obsidian is continuing to improve the core game experience, but they are also thinking about the future of the universe they have created.

A card game and a classic tabletop role-playing game will be created with partners, and an expansion for Pillars of Eternity is also in the planning stages.
