Gamers should use drag and drop on characters

Pillars of Eternity has enjoyed a mostly smooth launch so far, but the community playing the role-playing game from Obsidian has noticed a serious bug that is currently affecting the game and can have some big negative effects for those who use a double-click move in order to equip any item on their character.

The Reddit community built around the title says that all those playing should stick to drag and drop when they are using equipment in order to make sure that they do not lose passive effects for their characters.

When putting an item in an empty slot, the problem does not appear and only replacements activate it.

The buffs that a gamer gets from racial traits and other elements of the game remain listed in the character sheet but they are no longer active, which can make the game harder than it should be.

Obsidian has not yet offered any official position on the bug affecting Pillars of Eternity, but it will probably move to find its cause and fix it as soon as possible during the coming week.

The classic role-playing title is designed to appeal to those who loved experiences like Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale, and it has so far been well received by gamers.
