Video game publisher Bethesda says that it is not aiming to launch 20 or 30 titles in one year and that it will continue to be focused on offering as much support as possible to high-quality experiences from important studios.

Peter Hines, who handles public relations and marketing for the company, tells Joystiq that, “if it’s one a year, or two a year, or three a year or four a year, what’s most important is backing the best bets, putting our full support behind those and making them great.”

Recently, Bethesda announced that it was delaying Wolfenstein: The New Order in order to make sure that MachineGames had the time to polish the experience.

At the same time, the publisher is working on The Elder Scrolls Online and The Evil Within, which are expected in 2014.

Dooms 4, from id Software, and Prey 2, from a currently unknown developer, are also part of its portfolio.
