The Perfect Game Challenge is set to make a return for MLB 2K13, according to developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K Sports, but it seems that the overall prize structure will change a little, although the overall awards still total 1 million dollars (747,000 Euro).

The grand prize, which is offered to the player who manages to record a perfect game after MLB 2K13 is officially launched, is now only 250,000 dollars (184,000 Euro).

The rest of the overall prize for MLB 2K13 Perfect Game will be split into 30 separate smaller packages of 25,000 dollars (18,400 Euro) that will be given to players who have managed to reach perfection with each of the teams in the Major League Baseball roster.

The best four of them will be selected to take place in an event in New York during the All-Star Week in order to get the grand prize.

MLB 2K13 is set to arrive on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, and will be out on March 5.
