The PlayStation 4's free games coming in July may have been leaked by PlayStation Asia

The free games coming to the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system from Sony in July's PlayStation Plus update may have been revealed via the PlayStation Asia website.

The free games coming to PS Plus subscribers in July are TowerFall: Ascension and Strider, as listed on the PlayStation Asia website, in the prematurely updated Coming Soon section.

The games have been removed, but the Internet has captured the listing in all its greatness, and it's a pretty good bet that we're going to see Strider and TowerFall: Ascension pop up in North America on July 1 and in Europe on July 2.

Even though you should take this with a grain of salt for now, games leaked through the Asian PlayStation website in the past turned out to be a match to the actual titles offered. For instance, Mercenary Kings was announced to be the PS Plus game for the PlayStation 4 console in April, on the website, and it then showed up for PS Plus subscribers in Europe and North America.

However, Sony has announced some changes coming to its PlayStation Plus service on July 1, with the company saying that all 6 games will be offered on the first Tuesday of the month, which means that they might change how they handle PS+ free games distribution, and we'll have to wait until next week to see the full lineup of July 2014 freebies.
