Video game publisher Konami is using the Gamescom event in Germany in order to announce that Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 will be launched on European markets on September 19 of this year, which is five days before the game is offered on the North American market.

This means that PES 2014 has picked another date than rival FIFA 14, which is set to be offered on September 27.

The team working on the simulation also says that the UEFA Champions League license means that the game will focus more on the quality of the competition that reunites the biggest clubs in the world rather than showing off the skill of just one player.

A new trailer is designed to show off the power of the Fox engine and the new physics-driven gameplay, as well as give players a glimpse of how the new Heart system will simulate the emotion transmitted by the game.
