Blizzard Entertainment has released yet another gameplay video from Overwatch, this time around showing how a match looks from the perspective of a support character.

The latest gameplay video from the upcoming first-person multiplayer shooter focuses on Mercy, a combat medic that specializes on helping her team, and even bringing fallen allies back to health.

Her abilities let her slow the speed of her descent from great heights, channel a healing beam from her caduceus, enhance an ally's damage, and allow her to fly quickly towards a targeted ally, in order to provide much-needed assistance during times of need.

When necessity calls, Mercy can also dish out some damage using her sidearm, but her abilities excel at helping allies and keeping them from harm.

As you can see in the video below, Mercy has very good mobility, and still requires you to be pretty fast and close to the action, in spite of her role as support hero. You can learn more about her on the Overwatch website.

The video shows a complete, unedited match of Overwatch, running at 60 frames per second, taking place on the Temple of Anubis map, a Point Capture arena.

Overwatch has no release window for the time being, but developer Blizzard Entertainment has revealed that it plans to launch it into beta sometime this fall.
