Rockstar Games has confirmed that, at some point in time, it would love to include all of the fictional cities from Grand Theft Auto games into a single, all-encompassing GTA game.

Grand Theft Auto titles impressed not just through top-notch gameplay, but also through the stunning size of their open worlds, ranging from GTA 3's Liberty City, to Vice City or the whole state of San Andreas, which included Los Santos, Las Venturas, and San Fierro

Now, Rockstar's Leslie Benzies has talked with Digital Trends about the company's desire to create an all-encompassing game that features all the cities of the GTA series.

"Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities," Benzies said, "and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas, and in that context re-imagining Vice City would be very interesting."

This concept isn't unheard of, as GTA: San Andreas did allow the player to visit a small portion of GTA 3's Liberty City as part of a special mission.
