Haemimont Games, the team behind the successful Tropico franchise, has confirmed that its latest game – Omerta: City of Gangsters – is now complete and can be pre-purchased for the PC platform via the Steam service.

Haemimont impressed plenty of gamers with its Tropico titles and the company is hoping to draw in more people with the upcoming Omerta: City of Gangsters game, which blends economics simulation with gang management and turn-based tactical combat.

The studio has just confirmed that the game has gone gold and that those interested in its PC edition can already pre-purchase it via the Steam service and score a bonus 15% discount.

Omerta was originally scheduled to appear in 2012, but the game got pushed back to February 1, in Europe, and February 12, in North America, for the PC and Xbox 360.
