Naughty Dog has confirmed that it has no plans to bring The Last of Us, its recently released survival game, to the PlayStation 4 next-gen console.

The Last of Us impressed millions of PS3 owners worldwide back in June when it appeared for Sony's console.

Since then, the studio has brought forth new content while its second team has been working on a top secret project, probably for the PS4.

In the meantime, the studio has no plans to port The Last of Us to the PS4, as its Community Strategist, Eric Monacelli, explained on the PS blog that the survival game will remain a PS3 exclusive.

As such, fresh PS4 owners shouldn't expect to get The Last of Us on their next-gen console.

The much rumored sequels for the game, however, might be PS4 exclusives.
