After showing off the Nintendo Wii U to its Japanese fans as part of a special Direct video, the Japanese company has now posted a new version of the presentation for English-speaking fans, in which it shows off the WaraWara Plaza and the Wii U Chat systems.

The Wii U will be out later this month around the world and Nintendo has already started heavily promoting the device and its various features through different commercials.

Yesterday, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata organized a special Direct video conference for Japanese fans, in which he unboxed the console and showed off its different features.

Now, Nintendo of America has released a much shorter version of the presentation, focusing on two of the Wii U’s features – the WaraWara Plaza and the Wii U Chat.

The WaraWara Plaza will be showcased when you start up the console and shows various games and the Miiverse users that are talking about them.

The Wii U Chat is also highlighted in the video by a talk between Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime.

Check out the video above and get ready for the release of the Wii U this month.
