Wii U consoles and games aren't selling that well, apparently

The Nintendo Wii U hasn't sold that well at GameStop during the winter holiday season, at least according to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, who mentions that very few games are actually sold alongside the device.

The Nintendo Wii U came out late last year all around the world and, judging by actual or supposed sales figures, the console is doing pretty well around the globe.

According to Arvind Bhatia, however, the console didn't perform that well at large U.S. retailer GameStop, as he says that not a lot of people rushed to get a Wii U this holiday season and that very few actually got games for their new console.

"Our conclusion is the Nintendo Wii U launch has been slightly disappointing," Bhatia said, via GameSpot.

Do you agree with the analyst's assessment or do you think it's still too early to tell if the Wii U is a success or not?
