Nintendo is very serious about launching more content for its hardware platforms in early 2013 in order to keep sales up and has confirmed that the Wii U home console will get access to an internally created fitness game in the first quarter of next year.

Wii Fit U will include 77 different activities, with a new category added for dancing, and comes complete with a new fit meter.

The 3DS will benefit from the launch of Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon, a game that will once again try to make a star out of Mario’s sidekick, offering more gameplay designed specifically with the dual touch screen in mind.

Nintendo is also launching two new Coin Rush packs for New Super Mario Bros 2, which can only be bought via the official eShop.
