14 DAY TRIAL // Capcom shares a few more teasing statements about the next major Resident Evil game in the survival horror series, as it hopes to blow the minds of fans from all over the world.
The Resident Evil series has been around for tens of years, and in recent times Capcom has taken a very liberal approach with the franchise, going into different directions.
As such, some major titles have appeared, like Resident Evil 6, while smaller ones have rolled out, like the upcoming Revelations 2.
While talking with Videogamer, Capcom's Michiteru Okabe, who acts as a producer on Revelations 2, confirms that he doesn't know that many things about the next major Resident Evil game. Even so, he's quite confident that it will blow fans' minds when it eventually appears.
"Unfortunately we work on Revelations and that's kind of it," Okabe says. "We don't really have a window into whatever else is going on. That would be a separate team and whatever that team is doing we're confident that those guys are going to do something that's going to blow our minds."
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 starts rolling out as an episodic series at the end of the month. Afterwards, it's unclear what's going to happen with Capcom's franchise.
