The next Grand Theft Auto 5 update might bring back special winter holiday features to the GTA Online multiplayer mode, such as snow, as well as new things for the Cops'n'Crooks mode.

After delighting tens of millions of PS3 and Xbox 360 owners last year, GTA 5 finally rolled out last month across the PS4 and Xbox One, and developer Rockstar Games is busy working on both the PC edition and the first major update for the actual game, which is set to introduce, at long last, the online heists.

Until we get to hear more from the studio, clever fans have started rummaging about the files in the latest GTA 5 patch 1.04 for the PS4, which apparently sets the stage for quite a few upcoming features for the GTA Online multiplayer mode.

According to se7ensins, there are listings for an upcoming holiday multiplayer mode, which includes snow, clothing, bonus content for the Cops'n'Crooks game type, and other goodies.

No other details have been found, but Rockstar will probably confirm the next free update for GTA 5 and its online mode in the following weeks, ahead of the actual winter holidays. Until then, expect to hear more reports and speculation.
