A brand new report has appeared online about the next Call of Duty game that was presented to the participants of the Destination PlayStation event, saying that it continues the Modern Warfare saga.

Activision's Call of Duty series now has three different major studios working on installments for the first-person shooter franchise, starting with its founder, Infinity Ward, which made last year's Call of Duty: Ghosts, to Treyarch, who built 2012's Black Ops 2, and Sledgehammer Games, which co-created 2011's Modern Warfare 3 and will soon reveal this year's entry in the series.

Now, it seems that the first details about the new Call of Duty were revealed to participants at the Destination PlayStation event that took place in the U.S. last week.

In case you didn't hear anything about it, it's because it's exclusive to retail representatives from large stores and chains.

According to now deleted tweets from Lokiolr, via DualShockers, the next Call of Duty was revealed at the event under a Black Smith codename.

Opening scenes were presented that took place on the Golden Gate bridge and it seems that the new title will have a great physics system that focuses on realism.

What's more, it seems that the game does continue the Modern Warfare saga, which seemingly concluded with Modern Warfare 3, but it's unclear just how it does that just yet.
