The next Assassin's Creed game might take place in Brazil, at least judging by a statement made by the Managing Director of Ubisoft's Brazilian, who practically confirmed to a local website that next year's game will be set in the South American country.

Assassin's Creed 3 has just been released all over the world across its many platforms but Ubisoft has already begun asking fans about their opinions regarding the next installment in the series, which should appear next year.

Now, Ubisoft's Bertrand Chaverot, the managing director of the company's Brazilian division, told website Techtudo, via GameSpot, that the next Assassin's Creed will take place in Brazil.

It's unclear whether the new game will see its whole story be set in the South American country or will only visit for certain segments, like Assassin's Creed 3 did in a special mission.

As of yet, Ubisoft hasn't released an actual statement about the reveal made by its Brazilian director.
