An anonymous source best known for offering accurate information on the future of the Sonic series says that the next home console from Microsoft will be called Infinite, breaking the current pattern used by the company.

While listing platforms for the next Sonic project, the source writes, “PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, 3DS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Infinite. All seven versions will be the same, except the PC, PS4, and XI versions will have higher resolutions and the 3DS version will be made by a different team.”

Microsoft has not offered any sort of information on its next device, which is expected to be revealed during an event on May 21.

The console is rumored to require an always-on Internet connection and to include technology that bans used games from being played.
