The new Uncharted game for the PlayStation 4 may or may not be called Uncharted 4, as developer Naughty Dog has confirmed that the final name as well as quite a lot of other details will be revealed at a later date.

The PS4 All Access Event that previewed the launch of the next-gen console in North America included one major reveal for the upcoming device – a new Uncharted game from famous developer Naughty Dog.

While the teaser trailer showcased just a small amount of footage, the studio's Community Strategist, Arne Meyer, wrote a special blog post about the new game.

According to him, the whole Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception team is back, including franchise writer Amy Hennig.

"Our goal is to continue what we've done in previous console generations and once again deliver the best in storytelling, performance capture, technical innovation and graphics on the PS4," he said.

He also mentioned in the comments that the new game will receive its full name and launch date for the PS4 at a later time, so it's unclear if it's going to be called Uncharted 4.
