During the latest Electronic Arts financial briefing, the large publisher has confirmed that it's going to continue its partnership with Respawn Entertainment in order to deliver "new Titanfall experiences" worldwide.

Titanfall was one of the first big all-new games that appeared this year, making its debut on PC and Xbox One in March and on the Xbox 360 in April.

The game sold quite well and impressed millions of players worldwide with its online-only first-person shooter action.

While it was already a given that EA would continue funding Respawn to work on another game, it's now been officially revealed via the latest EA earnings call by CEO Andrew Wilson.

"We're excited to announce that EA is continuing its partnership with Vince Zampella and his Respawn Entertainment team, building on our success in delivering Titanfall, the biggest interactive entertainment event in the year so far," he said. "Through a new policy agreement, we will be working with Respawn to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide."

Zampella also confirmed on Twitter that he was quite excited about the new deal with EA.

"Looks like the cat is out of the bag! "New Titanfall experiences" await you in the future! Excited at the opportunity! This is going to be fun," he said.

Considering Respawn is still dedicated to supporting Titanfall with new DLC maps, modes, and more, it's going to be a while before a sequel is detailed.
