14 DAY TRIAL // The Cave, the upcoming side-scrolling adventure game from famous designer Ron Gilbert and the developers at Double Fine, has just received a brand new video, this time showing off some of its main characters.
Double Fine has made a variety of games under the leadership of famous designer Tim Schaefer and he has recently joined forces with Ron Gilbert, the creator of the classic Monkey Island games, who is currently leading his own project, in the form of The Cave.
We already saw some screenshots and heard a few details about the side-scrolling adventure game and now a brand new video has appeared on the web, showcasing some of its main characters.
In this first trailer we get to learn more about the actual cave, which apparently can talk, and about some of the people who'll explore it, including the Hillbilly, the Scientist, the Monk, the Twins.
Other characters will be revealed through upcoming videos ahead of The Cave's release in January, 2013, for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
